We Ordered a Truck!

Our goal while home for the holidays before heading back to Texas was to buy a bigger truck. We had no idea how hard this was going to be. Chevy and GMC 3500’s and F-350’s were impossible to find and in some cases selling before even hitting the dealer lot. After finally test driving a few 2500 and an F-250, we knew it made the most sense to order the truck we wanted instead of wasting time searching for the right one to hit a dealer lot within reasonable driving distance to pick it up. When we placed the order, the Ford plant was headed into a five week shut down, either due to the coronavirus cases or lack of parts due to the pandemic. We were told the truck would most likely be in at the end of April. So we started planning our next adventure around the arrival of our F-350 and the boys' metal mouth appointments.
